Provides a general overview of the field, the variety of perspectives that are used in this area, and published guidelines on corporate governance.

Provides readings on a variety of factors concerning the board including, structure, processes, and the impact of these practices on shareholder wealth and performance.

Covers issues of CEO selection, turnover, succession, and compensation, and the ability of the Board and/or shareholders to monitor the CEO.
