Pre-Academy of Management Convening:
Transforming Business Education and Business for Flourishing
Thursday, July 30 2026
The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
Registration Fee: $150
We invite you to the Pre-Academy of Management conference on Thursday, July 30, at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
This invitation-only convening builds on several ongoing conversations and collaborations with:
- The International Humanistic Management Association, protecting dignity and promoting well-being
- The Club of Rome, committed to global equity for a peaceful and healthy planet
- A February gathering at the Garrison Institute, dedicated to inner and outer transformation
- Members of the Aspen Undergraduate Consortium, now BELL, committed to integrating “liberal learning”—the free pursuit of ideas across disciplines, traditions, and perspectives—into business education
Together, these collaborations inform the theme of the convening: Transforming Business Education and Business for Flourishing.
The day will be structured around shared inquiry, combining brief framing conversations with small-group dialogue and collective reflection. Participants will have the opportunity to explore how inner and outer transformation can shape research, pedagogy, business practice, and public discourse.
