Become a Leadership Compass Candidate
Leadership Compass is a selective leadership development experience for Wharton sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Each year, a small cohort of students is chosen to participate in this immersive program rooted in the values of the McNulty Leadership Program.
You don’t need to have a formal leadership title or years of experience to apply — what matters most is your curiosity, commitment, and alignment with the values of the McNulty Leadership Program.
What makes a strong Leadership Compass Candidate?
- Are eager to grow through self-reflection, feedback, and real-world team experiences.
- Value collaboration, authenticity, and community.
- Are committed to engaging fully in the program’s activities and relationships.
Admissions Timeline
If you are interested in applying to join this exciting learning community, please fill out an online application and note the important dates below:
- We are currently accepting applications for the Leadership Compass program: application
- Application closes: September 14, 2025 (rolling admissions)
- Leadership Compass orientation: September 17, 2025, 6:00-7:30 pm
- Team formation at the Discovery Center (required by all members): September 20, 2025, 9 am – 3 pm

This program is open to all Wharton sophomores, juniors, and seniors. You do not need to have previous leadership experience to be selected. We are looking for individuals who are driven to develop their leadership capability and represent the values of the McNulty Leadership Program.
