In partnership with the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, students will engage in a variety of individual and team circus arts activities.  With the support of group members, students will learn engage in challenging acrobatics, balancing initiatives, and aerial arts.  These activities foster effective communication and the importance of building trust within the group.  This workshop gives participants a unique, immersive experience into Circus Arts and opportunity to learn about leadership in a different context.

This workshop is free to all Wharton undergraduate students.  Transportation and instruction is included. Food is NOT provided. The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts requires ALL participants to be COVID vaccinated. In order to enter their building you will need to show them a copy of you COVID vaccine card.

Activities and Risks

Students will engage in a safe environment and participate in the following activities:

  • Ariel Silks
  • Juggling
  • Acrobatics
  • Ariel Swings
  • Balancing Activities
  • Date: Friday, October 29, 2021
  • Times: 12:000pm – 2:00pm (Bus leaves campus at 11:15am and returns by 3:00 pm)
  • Location: Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (transportation provided)
  • Requirement: Green OpenPass to enter the bus and COVID vaccination record (copy or original) to enter the Philadelphia School of Arts
